About the Program
We’re excited to offer our exclusive Barron Dance Ribbon & Stars Evaluation Program, designed to reward students for learning new skills and help parents track progress easily. Through goal-setting posters and level-up ribbons, dancers build confidence as they color in stars for each achievement. This program encourages growth, celebrates hard work, and boosts self-esteem while supporting high-level dance instruction.
Throughout the year, we will hold Ribbon & Stars Evaluation months, during which children will perform the skills they have been learning from their teachers. Students will be evaluated only in their scheduled classes during the evaluation period.
How it Works
The following programs have separate curriculum and posters for all levels:
Junior Dance
School Age Dance
1.
Stop at the front desk on your first day of class to receive your poster for your level.
2.
The poster lists skills that are required to be completed for your level and matches the curriculum skill sheet that the instructors have for each child.
3.
During the Ribbon & Star Show Off Month, the students will be evaluated on their progress.
4.
The customer service department will email parents when their student’s skills are ready to view in the Parent Portal.
5.
When the student completes all the skills on their poster, the customer service department will contact you when it’s time for you to move up to the next level.
After moving up, visit the front desk before your next class to receive your student’s new poster. Your child will also celebrate their achievement by ringing the move-up bell and receiving their move-up medal, marking a milestone in their dance journey!
