How much does it cost to enroll?
There is an Annual Enrollment Fee of $40 for the first student, and all siblings are free. This fee renews annually on the anniversary of your original enrollment and helps cover administrative costs and student secondary insurance.
What is the monthly tuition?
Our monthly tuition is $129 per student. We offer a sibling discount and multi-class discount at $119/month for each additional student or class. For those enrolled in team practices, tuition is $134/month for Purple Team (45 minutes) and $139/month for Blue Team (1 hour).
How does billing work?
Tuition is automatically charged for the following month on the 25th of each month. If you need to withdraw, submit a withdrawal form by the 24th month to avoid being charged. Because we reserve your child’s spot, tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. We use a flat-rate system based on an average of four classes per month, regardless of whether a particular month has three or five lessons.
Is there a money-back guarantee or trial class?
At Barron, we believe that a child’s first experience in the water should be more than just a one-time trial. That’s why, instead of offering a free class, we invite new families to experience a whole month of lessons. This gives students the time to adjust, connect with their instructor, and develop fundamental skills. If, after the first month, you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll refund 100% of your tuition and enrollment fee—no questions asked.
How does the waitlist work?
We can’t sugar coat it, we do have an extensive waitlist at all locations, and that speaks to the popularity of our program and the high demand for swimming lesson.
Joining our waitlist is entirely free; you can join multiple waitlists simultaneously. Openings happen as students withdraw or change classes, and we contact families in order of waitlist position. You’ll receive a phone call and email notification when a spot opens, and you’ll have 24 hours to respond. In the meantime, we encourage enrolling in an alternate class if available. Once enrolled, your tuition will be prorated to reflect your actual start date.
What’s the diaper policy?
For the safety of all swimmers, children under three must wear both a disposable swim diaper and a reusable swim diaper, OR two reusable swim diapers. Children over three may stop after being accident-free for at least four months. All diapers must pass the two-finger snugness test. This double-layer protection helps avoid pool closures. Approved diapers are available in our on-site retail shop.
What should my child wear?
Swimmers should wear well-fitted swimwear: one-piece suits for girls and swim trunks or jammers for boys. Long hair must be tied back or placed in a swim cap. Goggles are optional but may be removed during class for safety skill practice. No jewelry is allowed in the pool. Rash guards and swim shirts are welcome but optional.

What if my child misses a class?
Remember that missed make-ups cannot be rescheduled, and they expire when you withdraw from the program. Make-ups do not carry over if you re-enroll in the future. While we do our best to accommodate families, make-ups are not guaranteed during high-demand times.
What are your scheduled closures?
- Dec 24–Jan 1 (Make-up for 12/26 only)
- Easter – April 20
- Summer Break – May 26 to June 1
- Independence Day – July 4–5 (Make-up for 7/4 only)
- Back to School – August 25–31
- Labor Day – September 1–2
- Halloween – October 31
- Thanksgiving – November 27–28

What happens during bad weather or pool closures?
If we need to cancel class due to weather or pool issues, you’ll receive updates via email and social media.
- Morning class updates: by 7:00 AM
- Evening class updates: by 2:00 PM
We’ll contact you as quickly as possible in case of pool contamination or emergencies. If we cancel your class, you will be offered a make-up option.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Student skill evaluations are kept on file for one year from the withdrawal date, allowing your child to resume right where they left off if you choose to return. Your enrollment fee remains valid for one year from the payment date. Please note that any unused make-up classes are forfeited upon withdrawal from the program.
To begin the withdrawal process, please complete our Withdrawal Form.
Can I schedule private lessons?
