School Age Levels

The school age program is designed to give your child the best learning experience with a class that is jam-packed with fun and excitement. Our specialized curriculum includes learning skills that will lead to our ultimate goal for this program: water safety and introduction to all four competitive strokes. Our lesson plans will ignite your child’s imagination and cognitive thinking along with provide further development of gross motor skills. All students receive exclusive posters to track their progress and educate parents about the curriculum.

If you can’t find the perfect class, day, and time for your family please put your student on the wait list. We will continue to open up classes throughout the week. We will contact you shortly to get your child in class to become safer in and around the water!

Ribbon and Stars Evaluation Program

Students track their progress with stickers they earn for good behavior, attendance and skill building.

Beginner

ONCE A WEEK – 30 MIN | 1st Grade+ | RATIO – 4:1
This class is an introduction to the School Age Program. The class is designed for those who do not feel comfortable around water. The goal of this class is to make the children comfortable in the water, introduce them to assisted submersion in the water, and teach them very helpful safety skills.

Intermediate

ONCE A WEEK – 30 MIN | 1st Grade+ | RATIO – 4:1

The Intermediate class is for students that have completed the Beginner level. This class is designed for the students to feel comfortable around water and demonstrate the ability to float either on their back or stomach. The goal of this group is to have the child moving independently, floating on their back without assistance, and continue mastering safety skills.

Intermediate II

ONCE A WEEK – 30 MIN | 1st Grade+ | RATIO – 4:1

The Intermediate II class is for students that have completed the Intermediate level. This class is designed for those who have achieved a level of comfort in the water, can float, and can move independently. The goal of this level is to begin to teach roll over breathing, introduction to backstroke, and furthering the distance they can swim on their own.

Advanced

ONCE A WEEK – 30 MIN | 1st Grade+ | RATIO – 5:1

The Advanced class is for students that have completed the Intermediate II level. This group is designed to for those who a demonstrated an ability to swim freestyle and backstroke. The goal of this group is to introduce rotary breathing in freestyle, and introduce breaststroke and butterfly.
